Owner Spotlight: Rachel Cherenet

I’m Rachel Cherenet, proud owner of Elegant Renderings Home Staging And Design.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in Ethiopia but studied in Italy and Toronto. I graduated in Graphic Design and more recently, Home Staging through the Ultimate Stager Academy. I have been in the home staging business for two and a half years, and have been working in design-oriented work for fifteen years.

I enjoy doing design and decor work and especially helping clients achieve their goals. The joy of physically staging a client's home and hearing of their satisfaction as well as hearing of the successful sale of a property I have staged is what drives me to keep pushing myself.

As my business is a sole proprietorship, I am responsible for everything, including web presence, social media, working with clients and suppliers and managing promotional activities. The most important decision I need to make on a daily basis is finalizing a staging proposal for the client as it's critical to get this right. To ensure I do, I rely on my skills in staging and decor, and especially my visualization and organizational abilities.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honesty, integrity, helping others, family values, and ethical business behavior. Hard work, being meticulous and detailed in every aspect of my work and family support has helped me achieve success.

When I am not at work, I enjoy my family life and recreational activities (tennis, travel, gardening), as well as staying on top of current and developing decor and real estate trends. As a family, we support various charitable interests.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
